In the series Farad I created an instillation of five pieces to express the ideas I found in Bertolt Brecht’s Writing the Truth: Five Difficulties. The project explores the ability of society to coerce and overtake individuals, the ways in which this can be done, the power of the self in the face of the Generalized Other, and the very existence of a self and free will; as well as playing on the scientific experiment by recreating and reinterpreting the Carney Landis Experiments’ documentation and face markings.
